Lizard Loves The Olympics
Lizard just flew in from SLC, dude is giving me an Olympic recap right now, never seen him so hyped on any sports ever, passion. He also wants to get a tat right now that says “Mitch Hedgeberg is funny”. Here we go…
Rockervision
What was your first concert? Mine was a cheesey metal band called Krokus that my dad somehow scored free tickets to. I was like 13, they sucked so bad their hit song was a cover of Alice Cooper’s “Schools’s Out!” Yeah, I bought my first two tapes the next week, Bad Religion Against The Grain and Public Enemy Nation Of Millions. Thank God for skate videos, I might have ended up listening to butt rock with the rest of the kooks at high school, instead of recording Dinosaur Jr’s Freak Scene off the TV from Mike Vallely’s part in the Spead Freaks video.
Yup, true story, before the mp3 days, Colorado Springs skate homies rollin’ around with that crappy tape our friend Brett Barnes recorded off the TV. Awesome.
